Blaise was first admitted as a solicitor in 2015, before a period focusing on his studies completing a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Sydney on the subject of scepticism and the concept of belief. Following the completion of his thesis, he returned to the law in 2019, practising a solicitor at Levitt Robinson Solicitors for 5 years before being called to the bar. In that time, Blaise practised in a wide range of areas including, amongst others, human rights, commercial, corporate, consumer protection and criminal matters. His practice had a particular focus on class actions and human rights/anti-discrimination law, with Blaise taking a leading role in the day-to-day conduct of several class actions.
