Andrew Edington

Andrew advises and appears for clients in a diverse range of matters involving commercial and construction disputes, insolvency proceedings, investor remedies, partnerships, property, trusts and estate litigation. He also practices in public law and common law disputes, including matters involving workplace and environmental issues. He frequently appears in trial courts and as junior counsel in appellate courts.

Before coming to the Bar, he worked on corporate, finance and restructuring transactions as a senior associate at firms in Sydney and London. He was previously Associate to his Honour Justice Downes, President of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. He studied at Oxford University on a Banking and Financial Services Law Association scholarship. He has a BCL (Distinction) from Oxford and a BA (Hons 1) and LLB (Hons 1) from Sydney University.
