Library

The library has extensive online and print legal resources including, subscriptions to Butterworths Direct and Westlaw AU for all the major online Australian law reports, loose-leaf services, Commonwealth, state and territory legislation and law journals. We also have a substantial holding of texts.

Online subscriptions cover research sources such as, CaseBase, FirstPoint and Unreported Judgments, all of which may be accessed via PC and laptop and other devices such as iPad both within chambers and externally via the Internet.

The online services are also available to barristers via the two public access PCs located in the main area of the Library, as well as via their devices using Wi-Fi . In addition, Library staff is able to utilise many additional online resources on behalf of our barristers, for example, the UK Law Reports via the ICLR.

The Library is accessible to members of chambers at all times. It has two qualified full time staff that assist barristers in their use of the resources, as well as providing a comprehensive reference service and undertaking more complex research as required. The Library staff also offer an interlibrary loans service and legal research training in the use of both print and electronic resources.
