Nili Hali was a solicitor for nearly 7 years prior to being called to the Bar in August 2017. She has broad general litigation experience from the public and private sectors, and has also worked internationally at the International Criminal Tribunal in the Hague, the Netherlands. Nili has extensive expertise in personal injury and medical law, including catastrophic injuries sustained in accidents and historical abuse claims arising from the Royal Commission into institutional responses.

Immediately prior to being called to the Bar, Nili was the litigation Manager of the Coronial Inquests and Hague Convention team at the NSW Government Department of Family and Community Services. Nili has particular interest in pro bono work and medical law. She is one of the founding members and the legal advisor to the international charity DAISI (Doctors Assisting in the South-Pacific Islands).
