Joining the Bar over a decade ago, Louise has extensive experience in the civil jurisdiction, having been instructed in many high-profile cases in recent years, and is an experienced advocate in the High Court, Family Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court, Supreme Court and District Court. Louise enjoys applying her analytical and research skills to complex matters.
Louise has successfully challenged the status quo in a number of areas. She is an advocate for social justice and equal rights, and is a member of the Bar Association's Human Rights Committee, and is a past member of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). Louise sits on the board of the Women's Legal Services in NSW, a community legal centre providing women with a range of free legal services. Her passion for music and the music education of children has also led her to serve as Secretary of the NSW School Band Festival.
Louise appears both at first instance and on appeal matters.
